Those looking to spend several days on foot can explore the holiday region on the Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail. Over 17 stages, this long-distance hiking trail leads from the Krimml Waterfalls to Hüttschlag in the Grossarltal valley.

Nationalpark SommerCard
With the Nationalpark SommerCard, you can explore numerous attractions in the region from 1 May to 31 October. When staying at a participating partner establishment, you will receive the card from your host from the first night onwards.
The card includes one attraction per day from a selection of over 60 participating partners – including museums, nature experiences, leisure and sports facilities, and mountain railways.
The card also includes transport services such as selected hiking taxis, a day ticket for the Großglockner High Alpine Road, use of the Kolm-Saigurn toll road, and a day ticket for the Gerlos Alpine Road. Please note the relevant terms and conditions and operating hours.

Nationalpark SommerCard giveaway
Share your feedback on your stay at a National Park SummerCard partner establishment and enter the giveaway. We will be giving away three holiday vouchers, each worth €500, for the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region, to be drawn from all valid entries.
The closing date for entries is 31 October. You must be aged 18 or over to enter, in accordance with the terms and conditions.
Großglockner High Alpine Road

Through the SalzburgerLand by bus and train
With the Salzburg Verkehr Guest Mobility Ticket, overnight guests can use public transport in the province of Salzburg during their stay. This includes city and regional buses, suburban trains, regional and long-distance trains, and the Salzburg Verkehr shuttles.
You will receive your ticket digitally or as a PDF from your accommodation. With pre-check-in, it can be issued in advance for use upon arrival within the ticket’s area of validity.
