Grossglockner High Alpine Road

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road is the perfect starting point for hikes in a breathtaking setting within the Hohe Tauern National Park. Take advantage of our attractive autumn special: For €60, you receive an 8-day pass for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road (for cars) and the Rother hiking guide "Hiking on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road." This offer is valid from September 9th until the end of the season 2024 and is license plate bound.

Nationalpark SommerCard

With the National Park SummerCard you have the opportunity to make particularly intensive use of the diverse offers in the region from 1 May to 31 October. As a guest at one of the participating partner businesses, you will receive the SommerCard from your host, which allows you to visit and use one of 60 different attractions such as sights, museums and natural spectacles, leisure and sports facilities and mountain railways every day. A special highlight is the one-day admission to the Großglockner High Alpine Road Adventure World and a one-day ticket for the Gerlos Alpine Road, which are already included in the price.

The Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail stretches from the Krimml Waterfalls to the Valley of Alms, offering breathtaking views of Austria’s highest peaks. Along this long-distance trail, you'll encounter natural wonders, fascinating exhibitions, picturesque National Park towns, and attractive excursion destinations. The use of cable cars or convenient shuttle services at the stage destinations, along with an optional luggage transfer, ensures the highest level of comfort.
