Eight ski areas in the National Park Region
Your ski paradise in SalzburgerLand
The eight ski areas in the Holiday Region National Park Hohe Tauern stretch from the Grossarl, Gasteiner and Rauris valleys in the east to the glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn, the Weissee Glacier World to the Panoramabahn in Hollersbach, the Wildkogel Arena and the Zillertal Arena in the west.
The Hohe Tauern and the Kitzbühel Alps score with varied terrain, perfectly groomed slopes and fantastic views. Salzburg's third highest ski area (1,480 - 2,600 m) awaits you with kilometres of untouched deep snow slopes in the Weissee Gletscherwelt. The Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen in Hollersbach takes skiers over the Resterkogel directly into the Kitzbühel ski area with its legendary slopes around the Streif, Ganslernhang and Mausefalle.
The Wildkogel Arena and the skiing area in Bad Gastein are ideal for families and beginners due to the different levels of difficulty with predominantly blue and red pistes. A tip is also the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen, which score with high snow reliability. Connected with Dorfgastein, the Grossarl Valley offers a wonderful experience for skiing experts but also for beginners in the Ski amadé. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area offers skiing enjoyment even outside the winter season.
Those who want to further improve their turn technique on alpine skis, carving skis or the snowboard can rely on experienced ski schools in all eight ski areas.
The 870 kilometres of pistes in the eight ski areas are perfectly groomed, offer maximum safety and guarantee safe access to the extensive ski areas with sufficient distance. If you want to try them all out, the best way is to use a single card - the "SuperSki Card - Salzburg & Kitzbüheler Alpen" and experience Salzburg hospitality on sunny terraces at lofty heights.
