Eco-Label Certified
Since the end of 2025, the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region has held the Austrian Eco-Label as a sustainable tourism destination, license UZ82-015.
Following a preparatory phase of approximately 1.5 years, the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region underwent a two-day audit by an independent auditor at the end of October 2025.
With this award, the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region is committing to sustainable tourism development.
We are working together to use resources sparingly, further develop tourism offerings, and secure long-term regional economic value. In this way, we are contributing to a livable future in the Hohe Tauern National Park region.

The Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region has been awarded as the tourist destination. Individual accommodations, events, products, and packages are certified only if this is explicitly stated.
