Tobogganing in the National Park Region

Experience an unforgettable tobogganing tour

With the wind in your face and the snowy mountains in front of you, the descent becomes a nature experience for young and old.

Directly at the toboggan runs, huts invite you to stop for refreshments - with typical specialities such as Kasnocken or Kaspressknödeln, mulled wine and (children's) punch. Family toboggans and sledges can often be rented.

One of the most famous toboggan runs in the region is the toboggan run in the Wildkogel Arena. With a length of 14 km and a difference in altitude of 1,300 metres, it is the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world and offers an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

The Kreuzboden toboggan run in Rauris is also popular. On a length of 2 km you can enjoy a fast ride through the picturesque winter landscape.

In Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, the idyllic ascent to the Kohlschnait Hut or the ride on the Toboggan Express through the snowy winter landscape are just as much a part of the tobogganing experience as the rewarding stop at the hut to warm up and socialise.

Tobogganing fun for the whole family is promised by the approx. 3 km long natural toboggan run at Gasthof Lammwirt in Großarl.

The toboggan run in Uttendorf/Weissee at the Liebenberg Alpine Inn is particularly suitable for families and offers a rapid descent over a distance of 1.5 km. The start of the toboggan run is directly at Alpengasthof Liebenberg, where toboggans can also be rented if required.
