Rauriser Hochalm cable cars
Bird of prey station with flight demonstrations
The Rauriser Hochalmbahn, a 6-person cable car, takes you up to our "family mountain" Hochalm at 1,780 m in just a few minutes. The bird of prey observatory is located directly at the Hochalm hut. The otherwise so shy owls and birds of prey can be experienced up close here. The behaviour and habits of these partly endangered animals are explained in about 40 minutes. Demonstrations: 11:00 and 14:30.
Tilly's forest path
On Tilly's forest path, nature lovers young and old can explore the diversity of the Hohe Tauern National Park and collect a wide variety of stamps at the respective stations.

At the middle station next to the Heimalm, it's "Everybody off to hunt for treasure", because gold flakes can be washed out of the water here.

Kings of the air
At the bird of prey show at the mountain station you can get very close to the "kings of the air". Here, eagles, falcons, buzzards and large owls show visitors their flying skills. Falconer Peter Krizan explains the behaviour and habits of the kings of the air at the bird of prey station at 1,780 m.
