Together, we’ll walk from the entrance to the valley to the Knappenstube, where we’ll warm up and refuel with tea we’ve brought ourselves and a light snack, before exploring the front section of the Hochfeld exhibition mine. Kitted out in protective clothing and helmets, we’ll head into the ‘Hieronymus-Erbstollen’. Rangers will tell us about the lives of the miners of yesteryear and share fascinating stories about mining
