The Hochfeld Show Mine offers fascinating insights into alpine geology and the history of the National Park. This show mine, a rarity in the Hohe Tauern, is open to visitors in the summer months with guided tours.

For the sake of other participants and native wildlife, dogs are not allowed on excursions, nor is it possible to take them along during the guided tour inside the tunnels.
