Climbing enthusiasts have a total of three via ferrata routes to choose from in the Kitzlochklamm: Klammblick, Freifall, and Kitz-Klettersteig. Access is via the Kitzlochklamm boardwalk. Therefore, the via ferrata routes can only be used during the Kitzlochklamm’s opening hours, and an admission fee for the gorge must be paid.

The via ferratas have varying levels of difficulty, are very selective and creatively designed, and should under no circumstances be underestimated. The Höhlensprint route is among the most challenging via ferrata sections in the Salzburg region and is suitable only for very experienced climbers.
