Our mountain railways are the gateway to an unobstructed view of the Hohe Tauern National Park. From here you can hike on lush alpine meadows or go on mountain tours in the Kitzbühel Alps. Strengthen yourself with milk and cheese in the surrounding alpine huts.
The alpine village of Königsleiten, situated at 1,600 metres, is already on the Salzburg side of the Zillertal Arena. A hiker's paradise, tradition & music awaits you directly at the mountain station, at 2,200 m. The yodelling trail with its unique stations is dedicated to the motto "Everyone can yodel!

Anyone can yodel
The world's 1st yodelling hiking trail is located in Wald-Königsleiten, on the Gerlos Pass. Accessible via the Zillertal or the Salzach Valley.
Simple, traditional yodelling songs await you at the various experience stations. To enable everyone to experience the yodelling hiking trail, the trail starts at the mountain station of the Königsleiten village cable car.
Opening hours
The Yodel Hiking Trail is open in summer and can be used by everyone free of charge. Accessibility depends on the operating times of the mountain railway (Tel. +43 6564 8212). The trail is also suitable for prams. Please wear warm clothing and hiking boots.

GipfelLiner Königsleiten
Water fun with a bird's eye view at 2,300 m above sea level.
The flying machine in Königsleiten is just the thing for adventure seekers and adrenaline lovers on their summer holiday in Pinzgau. With the GipfelLiner - a kind of Flying Fox/Zipline - you glide over the reservoir attached to a 430 m long steel cable. From the 3 m high launch platform at an impressive 2,300 m above sea level to the landing platform, you will overcome a height difference of 65 m. A water fun experience in a class of its own - including an adrenaline kick for young and old.

GipfelWelt Königsleiten
At the mountain station of the Königsleiten village railway at the KRÖNDLWURMSEE! Numerous experiences such as wooden ball track and nature playground, world of legends around the Kröndlwurm.
The buggy path leads along the 2.5 km long reservoir pond and is easily accessible with a pram/buggy! Buggies can be hired for a deposit from the Gipfeltreffen restaurant at the Königsleiten village railway.
