Hunting for animal tracks in the forest, splashing in a mountain stream or watching ladybugs & butterflies on a flower-strewn meadow - here in the biggest national park in the Alps, all of this, and so much more is possible. 13 National Park Valleys are waiting to be explored by big and small, while National Park Rangers are available to offer hikers, sightseers and families all kinds of valuable tips, also leading excursions to the "Rauris Virgin Forest", along a stream theme path and into the "Realm of Pine".
The Nationalpark Sommercard is an all-inclusive family pass for our region. It gives all family members an opportunity to enjoy more than 60 different attractions free of charge (one free service per day). It includes, for example, mountain lifts in the region as well as free admission to sports and recreational facilities. The opportunities also include museums, exhibitions and sightseeing destinations. Furthermore, the card guarantees maximum mobility: including free use of local public transportation as well as all-day toll charges for the "Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse" and the "Gerlos Alpenstrasse".
