The Hohe Tauern extends from the Grossarltal (valley), the Gasteinertal (valley) and Raurisertal (valley), over the Kitzsteinhorn glacier skiing area to the Wildkogel-Arena and the Zillertal-Arena in the west.
THE EIGHT SKIING PARADISES
The height of the three-thousand peaks and the eight skiing areas is a guarantee for snow and sun.
The eight skiing areas in the National Park Hohe Tauern Holiday Region are rich in a variety of terrains, perfectly prepared slopes and fantastic freeride areas. With the Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alps (lift) in Hollersbach one has a direct connection with the Resterkogel to the Kitzbühel ski area.
The Wildkogel-Arena and the Glacier World Weißsee Uttendorf have manageable slopes for families. The Rauris Hochalmbahnen (lifts) is also a tip for guaranteed snow. Whoever wants to improve their technique on alpine or carving skis or on their snowboard, you can rely on all eight of the skiing areas with their experienced ski schools.
The 870 km of pistes in 8 different ski areas are groomed to perfection, offer maximum safety and, thanks to ample distancing, provide a safe gateway to their spacious ski areas. If you would like to give all of them a try, your best option is to go with a single ski pass - the "SuperSki Card - Salzburg & Kitzbühel Alps" - and experience the essence of Pinzgau-style hospitality on sunny terraces perched high in the mountains.
After all, physical exercise during the coldest season of the year is healthy and sunny mountains are true vitamin-D recharging stations.
