Alpenpark Neuss

The partnership

The indoor ski slope in the Neuss Alpine Park attracts more than 700,000 guests a year, and 30,000 children ski there for the first time every year. A good reason for the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region with the Wildkogel Arena cable cars to present itself there as a first-class winter sports destination together with other partner regions and the SalzburgerLand.

Why is SalzburgerLand pursuing a long-term cooperation in a ski hall far away from the Salzburg mountains of all places? Firstly, because tens of thousands of children stand on skis for the first time there and thus the foundation stone is laid for an often lifelong enthusiasm for winter sports. Secondly, because SalzburgerLand presents itself as a first-class winter sports destination to an affine target group in Germany, the most important market of origin, and in North Rhine-Westphalia, the most populous federal state.

From the slopes to the ski school to the attached four-star superior hotel, SalzburgerLand is omnipresent in the entire Neuss Alpine Park. The gastronomy, designed in alpine hut style, spoils guests with delicacies from Salzburg's alpine cuisine. And even the skis available there come from SalzburgerLand, from the Salzburg Alpine ski world market leader ATOMIC.

The success of this holistic approach can be measured in figures: According to a guest survey, 70 percent of Alpenpark guests go on skiing holidays every year - around half have already been guests in SalzburgerLand at least once or even come regularly.

Information to Alpenpark Neuss

Since its opening on 4 January 2001, Skihalle Neuss has made a name for itself far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia as a ski area open all year round. Around the core theme of "skiing", many other attractions have been established on the 150,000 m² site in recent years. With attractive outdoor leisure activities such as the climbing park, the alpine golf and the fun football facilities, Alpenpark Neuss has developed into a leisure park that is open all year round.

The various leisure experiences at Alpenpark Neuss have one thing in common: movement, action and fun paired with Salzburg hospitality in an alpine ambience. The gastronomic variety of the à la carte restaurant Salzburger Hochalm, the Salzburger Alm Biergarten and the overnight accommodation in the Hotel Fire & Ice round off the offer.

Overnight stays in the new BaumChalets are a unique experience. Highlights in addition to the usual hotel comfort are the terraces in the middle of the treetops or, depending on the chalet type, an integrated sauna, a whirlpool on your own terrace or a crackling fireplace in the bedroom.
