Timetables & tickets for your rail journey from Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Travel quickly and cheaply to Austria with Deutsche Bahn's Super Sparpreis: from 19.99€, e.g. from Munich to Zell am See or from 37.99€, e.g. from Berlin or Hamburg to Schwarzach. Children under the age of 15 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult over the age of 15.

Whether for transfers from the railway station, trips to sights or individual excursions - the local taxis will take you safely and comfortably to your destination. Many providers also offer special services for groups, winter sports equipment and excursions.
Guest shuttle Rauris - Taxenbach
For guests travelling by train, the Rauris guest shuttle on Saturday and Sunday offers additional options for travelling quickly and conveniently from Taxenbach to Rauris or from Rauris to Taxenbach. This service is free of charge with the Nationalpark SommerCard and the Nationalpark WinterCard.

Mietwagen Pongau offers a free train station transfer for your hire car to Schwarzach/St.Veit station.
Arrival and travelling by plane
The nearest airports are in Salzburg and Innsbruck. Alternatively, you can also use Munich Airport.
From the airports, you can get to the region by public transport such as bus or train or book an airport shuttle.

With the Smaragdexpress into the Habachtal valley, with the National Park Taxi into the Seidlwinkl valley or with the hiking bus into the Hollersbachtal valley - in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region, hiking taxis take hikers comfortably to popular starting points.
