Travelling by car
By car, you can reach the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region from Salzburg in about 1 to 1.5 hours, from Munich in about 2.5 hours. From both cities, well-developed federal roads and motorways lead directly to your holiday destination. Please note that you need an Austrian motorway vignette to use the Austrian motorways.
- You are coming from the north: A9 motorway from Munich
- From the south: A10 Tauern motorway
- From the east: Westautobahn A1
- From the west: A12 Inntal motorway to Wörgl, then federal roads
