Großarltal Dorfgastein ski area

Experience boundless freedom and winter idyll

In the skiing area of Großarltal Dorfgastein, part of Ski amadé, you can expect extensive and wide pistes at an altitude of 849 to 2,033 metres.

With a new 10-seater cable car, additional slopes, a unique summit restaurant, and comprehensive ecological measures, substantial investments have been made for the winter of 2023/24. The new state-of-the-art 10-seater cable car, Kieserl, takes you from the valley to the summit plateau of Kieserl (1,954 m) in just around 15 minutes of travel time, passing through a mid-station. It opens up the Roslehenalm ski area on the Großarler side, featuring splendid, snow-covered slopes. Also, a new direct ski connection from Kieserl to Dorfgastein has been introduced, further bringing together the two towns of Großarl and Dorfgastein.

The special attraction of the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area lies in the comfort of modern lifts, coupled with guaranteed snow and a village-like winter idyll in the midst of a unique landscape.

The highest point of the ski circuit can be reached in one go with the Gipfelbahn - Fulseck. The panoramic view over the Hohe Tauern to the Dachstein mountains is pure pleasure - and conveys a feeling of boundless freedom!

Skikeriki - Skiing at the first cockcrow. Morning skiing on freshly groomed slopes, deserted slopes and the rising sun attract some skiers to the ski area early in the morning every week. Afterwards, a hearty breakfast is served. But watch out: The number of participants is limited to 25.
