Archery

Experience the fascination of archery in SalzburgerLand

Archery is an ideal sport for the whole family. After a short introduction or training at generously designed, partly covered practice facilities in the Holiday Region National Park Hohe Tauern, it's off to the courses. Bow rental is possible at many archery courses and offers beginners and those interested the chance to try out the sport.

In Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, Robert Eder and his friends have set up a 3D archery course in Kohlschnait, near the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park. The site offers recreation and sporting activity for beginners and experienced archers away from the noise of traffic. There are 30 3D targets waiting for archers to hit from four marked out distances. For challenges, there are some uphill and downhill shots, some of which have to be tackled from high stands, with IFAA distances.

There is an adventurous archery course on the Hoamalm in the Grossarltal. Find 14 alpine animals and go hunting. Bows and arrows for all ages can be rented at the Hoamalm for a fee.

At 1,200 m above sea level, you can put your marksmanship to the test on the 3D archery course in Neukirchen am Großvenediger and enjoy the breathtaking landscape at the same time. A lovingly designed refreshment station called "Panorama Stall" halfway along the course provides refreshment. The course is a challenge for beginners and professionals alike.

In Stuhlfelden, archers have the choice between two 3D courses and an illuminated WA outdoor course.

A varied course with a total of 28 3D targets awaits archers in Uttendorf. The course offers a wide range of different challenges and levels of difficulty. In addition to the course, there is also a refreshment stand and a shooting range. For those who do not have their own bow, it is possible to rent a bow on site. Bow hire is always possible on Thursdays.
