Anyone who rightfully raves about the “Indian Summer” in North America should also experience the “Golden Autumn” in the Hohe Tauern National Park at least once. As the larch forests change colour, the mountain valleys are bathed in an almost magical golden light. And it is right here, through no fewer than 14 national park valleys, that the new Hohe Tauern Bike Trail runs. Combined with a sense of heavenly tranquillity and seemingly endless views in crystal-clear mountain air, this mountain bike route is the ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts who wish to quite literally gild the end of their season.

Ride the Colours is a specially created autumn package, designed to escape the often fog-covered grey of cities and lowlands and immerse yourself in the silence and golden light of the national park. To ensure you stay warm during the often cooler temperatures of mountain autumn, we have selected comfortable wellness hotels with sauna and/or spa facilities. After all, what could be more relaxing than unwinding and recharging, ready for the next day on the autumnal Hohe Tauern Bike Trail?
