Großarl Valley

Around 35 km of ploughed winter hiking trails in Grossarl Valley beckon to explore the valley on foot, in part along the river and in part uphill on the many agricultural roads with only moderate traffic. Having arrived at your destination, what's better than stopping off in a cosy lodge for a hearty snack, some mulled wine and the infamous Jägertee (tea spiked with fruit schnapps or rum). Getting back down to the valley is even faster, because those who haven't left their toboggan at home when going up can end their walk with a fun tobogganing session. But of course there's an even more comfortable option: Uphill with the taxi for a traditional cabin evening and back down into the valley on the toboggan. But look out: We shall not be held liable for any accidents.
