For children, there's a full programme at all tourism associations intheHohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region all week long. More than 30 weekly events make for plenty of variety. From pony riding and baking bread to adventure days panning for gold, there's truly something for everyone.
Apart from the excursions, our national park rangers are also deployed at various schools in the region. With various programmes such as the water- or school or project weeks forenvironmental education , pupils get to learn how to describe, understand and explain nature. Thus the dailyhikes guided by rangers are an educational and unforgettable experience for the whole family, but especially for the youngest ones.
Those who venture into the valleys on their own will find numerouseducational trails to learn more about the respective topic.
In addition to the valleys, the holiday region of course also has further highlights to offer families.
