Many are wonder: What do the Pinzgau local railway and the Uttendorf bathing lake have in common with the Hohe Tauern National Park Center in Mittersill? More than you think! They are all included services of the attractive HOHE TAUERN CARD. Whoever thinks, this is only valid in the National Hohe Tauern Park Holiday Region is mistaken. Actually, it entitles you to free entrance to 160 sights of interest and destinations throughout the State of Salzburg. And this for the third summer.

A long-awaited holiday is simply too short, in order to decide something. Guests, families, culturally-interested, and nature-lovers opt for variety and diversity with the HOHE TAUERN CARD. You are entitled to free entrance to 46 beaches, indoor swimming pools and adventure pools as well as thermal baths, museums and exhibitions, tourist mines and natural spectacles, castles and palaces, wild animal and adventure parks, sports grounds as well as lifts on 24 cable cars, summer tobogganing, buses and ships throughout the State of Salzburg.

From the National Hohe Tauern Park Holiday Region throughout the entire State

Among the Hohe Tauern Specials of the HOHE TAUERN CARD is a trip on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which ranks among the most beautiful scenic roads in Europe, as well as a visit in Stuhlfelden, the 1st archery village in Europe and a side-trip to Embach to the Farmer’s Golf Hiking Path. Also, national park facilities such as the Hohe Tauern National Park Center in Mittersill, the “Emeralds & Crystals” National Park exhibit in Bramberg and the “Kings of the Skies” National Park building in Rauris are included. Beyond that, holders of HOHE TAUERN CARD receive reductions at 14 additional bonus-partners such as the Gipfelwelt 3000 (summit world) on Kitzsteinhorn or the Kitzbüheler Alpen panoramic cable car or the High Alpine Reservoir in Kaprun.
