The harvesting time in the fall plays an important role in the lives of peasants, therefore, at this time, people celebrate especially frequently and willingly. From year to year, more and more visitors are enchanted by this wonderful celebratory season, guests and locals experience together the farmer and village culture in their original forms. Visitors are awaited by an extensive farmer’s autumn program.
Under the motto of “Celebration, tasting, culture” there is something for everyone, to celebrate the farmer’s autumn - harvest Festival in the 19 locations of the holiday region National Park Hohe Tauern. The communities can surprise their guests with original celebrations and events.

In the farmer’s autumn locations Kaprun, Mittersill and Uttendorf, you can have free entry to the home museum.
